A dining and drinks destination, popular in both the Des Moines and Kansas City metro areas, will make its Omaha debut at Midtown Crossing, Omaha’s unprecedented urban development. Saints Pub + Patio is expected to open November 1, 2012 at 120 S. 31st Street.
“We believe this concept will fit very well in Midtown Crossing,” said Scott Anderson, president and general counsel of Riley Drive, Inc., a management company that currently oversees seven sports pubs or bars in Iowa and Kansas.
Anderson said Saints Midtown Crossing will be an “upscale sports bar” specializing in good food, great drinks and excellent service.
“We believe there are many great dining destinations in Midtown and that Saints will add diversity by offering great food and drinks in a more casual but vibrant atmosphere,” he said.
He added, “We will also offer great sports viewing. I expect this location to have at least twenty-five HD flat screen televisions and a great sound system. … We have every intention of being a game day destination for both Husker and Creighton sports viewing.”
“What Saints will not be,” said Anderson, “is a late-night party bar.”
“I expect lunch, happy hour and dinner to be very busy. While we will be open every day from 11 am until 2 am, I expect most of our crowd to disperse well before closing time,” he said.
“We are thrilled to welcome Saints to Midtown Crossing and to give the people of Omaha yet another venue for food, drinks and fun that they won’t find anywhere else in town,” said Molly Skold, marketing director for East Campus Realty, the Mutual of Omaha subsidiary that owns Midtown Crossing.
